The fellowship programme is run by the green industrial park GreenLab in close collaboration with DTU. Funded by the Villum Foundation, the programme aims to bridge the gap between university research and practical industrial innovation to accelerate the green transition.
The three selected researchers will spend the next two years translating complex theories into concrete solutions. This time, the research will focus on how interdisciplinary research can contribute to the green transition.
Katelyn Sharratt will investigate how eco-industrial ecosystems drive innovation and lay the foundation for the new organizational forms and business models needed to boost the green transition forward.
Giulia Montanari will examine the environmental impacts of local energy demand and examine how renewable energy systems and green industrial parks like GreenLab can reduce both carbon emissions and energy costs.
Hamid Rahbari will develop digital tools and decision-support frameworks to ensure stronger integration of renewable energy, closer sector coupling, and greater flexibility within the energy system.
