About DTU Construct

FabLab at DTU Construct.

The Department of Civil and Mechanical Engineering (DTU Construct) has a total of 420 employees. This makes it one of the largest departments at DTU.

Our researchers and technical & administrative staff are spread across offices, labs and workshops in the first and fourth quadrants on the DTU Campus. 

In 2025, DTU Construct:

  • Achieved external funding worth 242 mio. DKK
  • Published 342 scientific papers
  • Taught 220 different courses
  • Led 13 study programmes across DTU
