Professor Tim C. McAloone, DTU Construct, has been awarded the IPU Prize 2025, which carries a grant of DKK 100,000. The prize is awarded by the IPU Foundation and recognises technical research with a direct impact on Danish industry.
For more than 25 years, Tim McAloone’s research has focused on developing and implementing sustainable technological solutions. He has developed methods and tools used by a range of Danish and international companies, including Grundfos, Novo Nordisk, FLSmidth, Danfoss, and VELUX.
Furthermore, he is co-lead of the DTU Centre for Absolute Sustainability and has played a central role in establishing the reManuFactory centre, which works with circularity through technological development and close collaboration with industry.
