DALSA

The DTU Arena for Life Science Automation (DALSA) is a pioneering initiative aimed at advancing the technologies and use of automation within Life Science R&D and manufacturing.

Robot pipetting.

DALSA will serve as a collaborative hub between DTU Bioengineering, DTU Electro, and DTU Construct providing access to fully automated process chains within the life science field of research.

The goal is to ensure a higher level of accuracy and certainty when performing large scale laboratory tests within health tech and bioengineering.

When fully developed, DALSA will offer other DTU departments, international academia and industry the possibility of outsourcing the test phase of their research and receive a comprehensive report of all test details and results.

DTU Construct will focus on the mechanical handling of test containers and the combining of already existing equipment to develop improved test flows.
