Structural Dynamics Lab
The Structural Dynamics Lab facilitates research on medium to large-scale structural systems in both controlled laboratory and real-world conditions.

The lab possesses the following top-notch equipment:
- Sensors and data acquisition systems tailored for advanced vibration testing
- Piezoelectric accelerometers capable of measuring vibrations across a wide frequency range with a high signal-to-noise ratio
- Triaxial geophones offering high sensitivity and low noise floors for accurate vibration (velocity) measurements for medium to large-scale structures
- Laser distance sensors integrated with acquisition modules and data acquisition systems
- State-of-the-art Structural Health Monitoring system including triaxial geophones and a uniaxial inclinometer optimized with minimal length cabling
- Uniaxial shaking table enabling the application of dynamic excitations. Impact tests are feasible with impulse hammers of varying sizes and capacities.
