Workshops
The workshops provide teaching, advice, and guidance to undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD students. The workshops produce mock-ups and prototypes for student projects. The workshops also build, maintain, and remodel laboratory test setups and perform commissioned work.
Facilities in the workshop in building 119:
- Metal workshop
- Wood workshop
- Electronics workshop
- Hydraulic workshop
- Test facilities for small and large-scale specimens such as concrete beams, metal rods, composites, and other materials
- Stationery tensile and compression machines
- Test setups can be built to handle large specimens. The workshop has hydraulic actuators that can provide up to 5 MN
