    Metrology

The laboratory is equipped with advanced instruments for tactile and non-tactile geometric measurements and characterization of a wide range of objects and materials. The equipment ranges from basic tools such as calipers, micrometers, and stereo microscopes to advanced systems including:

    • Surface roughness testers and optical 2KMM

    • Focus variation, confocal, and interferometry microscopes

    • Optical scanners and profilometers

    • Coordinate measuring machines (CMMs)
